Last month, I had the privilege of meeting with a trade and economic delegation from Kerala, one of India's southern states, in their efforts to bolster their prominence in health care, information technology and innovation opportunities. This group was in New York to learn and network with American enterprises in the same sector.
The event, which was led by Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, shed light on Kerala's visionary approach to building a knowledge-based economy, with emphasis on cutting-edge sectors like Artificial Intelligence, Engineering and R&D, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Aerospace and Defense, Robotics, and Electronics. They demonstrated Kerala's drive to bring the state into the future. In total, a few hundred people attended the event, and nearly all the attendees were U.S.-based.
Part of the meeting included a hosted Investment and Business Promotion Roundtable. I was proud to share Green Circle Life's success story in the HRTech and fintech spaces, working from the U.S. with a dedicated team in Kerala. Our journey as a company has been marked by significant milestones in revolutionizing employee benefits and wellness solutions. I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as I highlighted the contributions and expertise of our talented team in the U.S. as well as in Kerala. The teams work together so well, and both have been an integral part of our journey from the very beginning. Because of this working arrangement Green Circle Life has become a trusted name for our clients with all our efforts to promote better ways to help employees and their families live a healthy and productive life.
Throughout the Roundtable, the feelings of collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship were palpable. Participating in the Investment and Business Promotion Roundtable was an unforgettable experience for me.
